Afterstep "Bad Drawable" errors

Hello all,

I've been getting some error messages when I log out of Afterstep 1.6.6 
running on MkLinux.  They usually are as follows:

Detected Color Depth 15
X Error or failed request:  Bad Drawable (invalid pixmap or Window 
parameter)

Major opcode of failed request 62 (x_copy area)
Resource in failed request: 0x1400010
Serial number of failed request 7665
Current Serial number in output stream 7668


My newbie guess is that my color depth is 15 and I am using 16bit icons 
or something to that effect.  Thanks in advance for any help...
