No such thing. The window manager uses the fonts within the X
environment, as made available at start-up. With XFree86, this is defined
in your /etc/XF86Config file. But see my remarks about TrueType.

Yes, if you use a TrueType font server. There's a free one included in
the latest XFree86. You should read the relevant info provided by XFree
before deciding whether it'll help you.

Sorry, but almost nothing in X is ever easy, for any reasonable
definition of "easy". It's powerful, yes, but it's baroque! Still,
there's more info (at least about TrueType) at the end of the current FAQ.
