aterm -0.3.3 and color codes.

I found aterm-0.3.3 a masterpiece. However, it changes the colors of my
prompt.
Let me go on with an example, excerpt from my .bash_profile

Cyan="\[\\033[01;36m\]"
Normal="\[\\033[0m\]"
PS1="$Normal$Cyan\u $Normal$\w$Cyan>$Normal 

It works on other terminals (Cyan is really Cyan) but it becomes Yellow
in aterm. 

Does anybody else see this effect ?
