Im having problems configuring the start menu's for Afterstep v1.6.6
After editing the default start directory in ~/GNUstep/Library/AfterStep/start
to include an xterm option as a simple test, I am having problems with
afterstep commiting the changes :
The start directory looks like this :
1_nop
2_afterstepdoc
3_xterm
Applications
Desktop
Modules
Quit
Screen_savers
Windows
the 3_xterm is the option which I have added. The contents of the file
are as follows :
Exec "x-term" exec xterm &
Afterstep doesnt seem to commit the change. After making the change and
restarting afterstep there is "x-term" start menu option. Ive tried doing
the same change in the global configuration is /usr/X11R6/share/afterstep/start
but it also doesnt commit the change . Im obviously missing something. Perhaps
a commit command?
Im running afterstep on FreeBSD 2.2.8-STABLE
Thanks
Patrick
