Hi,
I'm using Linux-2.2.0-pre9, Afterstep 1.6.0, ascp 0.9.5, and
gtk+-1.1.12. I'm getting the following error durring ascp
initialization:
Gtk-WARNING **: invalid unclassed pointer in cast to `GtkObject'
Then there is a segmentation fault.
Below is the output from gdb, in case it will help the developer:
Starting program: /usr/bin/ascp
Gtk-WARNING **: invalid unclassed pointer in cast to `GtkObject'
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0x400e9ced in gtk_widget_set_style_recurse (widget=0x8125500,
client_data=0x0)
at gtkwidget.c:3372
3372 if (GTK_IS_CONTAINER (widget))
(gdb)
ascp 0.9.4 compiles and runs O.K., but it seems very buggy. It deleted
my wharf file once, so I don't want to use it anymore.
Any help would be appreciated,
Alan Hoyt
