Run command

Okay, I hit some chord of buttons and a little window poped up:

run form... and like an idiot I hit esc and I dunno whatelse was
on the window, but I assume it was to run an arbitrary command?

Can anyone tell me what I hit by accident?  Thanks mucho!
Its the one thing I miss from KDE and this makes it very complete.
