	x11amp is it's own placement machine, it works in odd ways.  Try
this with another app that doesn't have it own placement/decorations
scheme and see if it works.  Beating this thing around won't help - try
another app.  If it works with the other app, it's a bug in x11amp where
x11amp just tosses all WM hints (or whatever) it gets sent to /dev/null.
