Point of concern...

Howdy -
I've just downloaded the AfterStep-1.6.6-2.i386.rpm. I'll soon be
upgrading to this from the AfterStep-1.6.0-1-glibc2.i386.rpm you had on
this site about a month ago.
I've noticed with some concern that the 1.6.0 rpm installed by default
into /usr/X11R6/share/afterstep, but that this new 1.6.6 rpm installs
into /usr/local/afterstep. This moving target adds some difficulties,
obviously, as the various config files in my home directory depend on
the /usr/X11R6/share/ location. Ugh.
Was the 1.6.0 rpm configuration incorrect? Is there an easy way around
the pain of editing all my config files? Are you aware of this?
Thanks for any insight...
I.
