One desktop pager

Hello,

is there a simple way to have a pager with just one desktop ?

What I would like to have is a pager swallowed into a single Wharf button,
just like version 1.4 did on RedHat 5.1 .

I know there is a well commented pager file to edit, and maybe I miss
something obvious, but I don't know if I have to comment any line
referred to desktop other than zero or if there is a workaround.

Any help will be really appreciated.
