Well, I couldn't remember which this was but here's a bit from the
cvsup man page:
The GUI interacts poorly with some window managers, notably FVWM. There
are problems with both versions 1 and 2 of FVWM, though it appears
that they are not as bad in version 2. Adding the line
Style "cvsup" ClickToFocus
to FVWM2's .fvwmrc file helps quite a bit. The problem appears to be
caused by window manager bugs, triggered by the GUI's use of the
`WM_TAKE_FOCUS' protocol. As a work-around, you can always use the
sup-compatible GUI provided by the -g option.
