AS 1.5b5 Pager compile error.

I just finished compiling and installing AS 1.5beta5, but
realized all too quickly that a piece of it went awry. I found out
upon restart that the Pager did not compile properly. Everything else
worked, save this one.
To make a long story short, I attempted to fix this by
entering the src/Pager directory under the distribution, and running a
'make' on the Pager itself. 'make' spewed this at me:
gcc -O2 -Wall -I/usr/X11R6/include -c as_jpeg.c
as_jpeg.c:173: parse error before `void'
as_jpeg.c:181: parse error before `->'
as_jpeg.c:184: parse error before `->'
as_jpeg.c:184: conflicting types for `longjmp'
/usr/include/setjmp.h:93: previous declaration of `longjmp'
as_jpeg.c:184: warning: data definition has no type or storage class
as_jpeg.c: In function `LoadJPEGFile':
as_jpeg.c:230: `my_error_exit' undeclared (first use this function)
as_jpeg.c:230: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
as_jpeg.c:230: for each function it appears in.)
make: *** [as_jpeg.o] Error 1
Can anyone tell me what this means?
