The steprc file is in your home and is called .steprc.  Notice the period, 
directories and files that start with a period are ignored by default with 
dir and ls.  Try and type ls -a or ls -la, the l switch shows directory 
listing in a detailed format rather than just filenames.  So, the Afterstep 
file should be at ~/.steprc.

I'm new to Linux & AfterStep, I installed redhat 5.1 (US) & Afterstep
1.4 that was installed with the redhat distribution. It seems to be
running allright, but I can't find the step.rc file nowhere. It's really
driving me crazy !! Please help me !
