Netscape Geometry - can't make it go away

A while back I read on this list (I believe) about a way to change some
afterstep config files to make netscape always show up in a certain virtual
window. I made this change and then I realized that it sucks. Whenever I
bring up, say, the "Find" popup to search for text it pops up only in the 2nd
pager group even if I'm in a different group (I have 4 pager groups arranged
vertically). Now I can't remember the change I made and I can't figure out how
to get rid of it. Netscape only does this when I run afterstep. I am running
1.5.0 beta 2 on RH5.1 Intel.
I have removed all entries from ~/.Xresources, restarted X with no change.
I have tried as other users running afterstep, no change. Moved ~/GNUstep to
~/GNUstep-save with no change. Again, when I run another WM netscape isn't
getting those geometry settings and it appears in the current window as desired.
I have done "grep -li netscape `find /usr/local/share/afterstep`", etc to scour
the afterstep config. files. I also, checked in my ~/GNUstep directory and all
of my ~/[dotfiles], in /etc/, /etc/X11. I'm going bonkers.
NOTE: I don't have a Netscape app-defaults file in my X11 app-defaults
directory so that's not it either.
All this leads me to believe that it's a change I made in the afterstep config
but I can't find where that change is.
Would appreciate it if someone could help.
