I have a little problem...

I run roottail to view /var/log/messages on the root window - runs fine.

I edited my feel.DEFAULT in ~/GNUstep/<etc> so that it saves all
backgrounds (BackingStore, AppsBackingStore, SaveUnders - got 128 MB so
I can afford it :) ).

But at first, it doesn't obey these orders: when I move a window onto
the displayed text and remove it afterwards, the text disappears. When I
do Quit -> Reread configuration, things are OK again.

Is this due to the fact that I still use the AS package bundled with
RedHat?
(been too busy configuring NIS and NFS to install 1.5beta4)
