Hello:

I apologize to readers of the list for this post, which has nothing to do
with message onto which I piggy-backed this message.  My recent subscription
to this list was honored, and I received a welcome letter.  All further
communication to the list has apparently been refused.

I checked to be sure I am sending MIME-compatible text-only mail.

I am trying to get the attention of the list owner.  Mail addressed to
afterstep@linuxcenter.com and owner-afterstep@linuxcenter.com is returned
marked undeliverable.

I have addressed postings to the list using my MTA's "reply to author"
feature, to avoid potential problems from typos.  I have called the problem
to my ISP's attention.  This has all proved to be an exercise in futility.

Can anyone help?
