I d/l'd your 1.5beta4 distribution and did a 

./configure

followed by a 

make ; make install ; make install.all ; make install.man

and well the make installs are barfing with a huge number of 

make[1]: Entering directory
`/users/brett/AfterStep-1.5beta4/src/Pager'
../autoconf/install-sh -c -m 644 Pager.man /users/brett/man/man1
make[1]: ../autoconf/install-sh: Command not found
make[1]: *** [install.man] Error 127

considering install-sh is in /users/brett/AfterStep-1.5beta4/autoconf
and the make is in /users/brett/AfterStep-1.5beta4/src/Pager is
suspect the command line should be ../../autoconf/install-sh.
Or maybe a full path built in configure?
