Keyboard follow up

Recently I posted a question about impropper backspace key mappings.  I then
solved the problem and posted a follow up to ignore the posting.

Well I've recieved at least four different e-mail's asking me how I solved
the problem so I figured there is probably a few people out there who are
still wondering how I solved it.

It's a very low tech solution.

As root I reran the XF86config script.  Normally when it got to the question
about keboard bindings I normally answered NO.  But this time I answered
YES.  Then I entered in the choice for 101US Layout keyboard.

Simple as that.
