If you have a new version with new info, I'd say release it. With the
number of small bugs to be fixed, who knows when 1.5.0-final will
arrive. :)
A FAQ should, IMO, contain FAQs - so don't predict, just collect the
questions as they come up. If you aren't sure if a bug has been fixed,
ask me or one of the other maintainers.
