me too.

Here are how my files are distributed.

Binaries
/usr/X11R6/bin

Default Universal configuration
/usr/share/afterstep

Personalised configuration files
~/GNUStep/Library/AfterStep/....
This directory overrides the default configurations in
/usr/share/afterstep
