That's not a bug, you got that problem with every *Term that doesn't come
with your distribution (if you are in Germany you also got with that ones
;-) ) Xiterm needs a correct termcap and I also think a readline that fits 
to that termcap and termlib for it. Read the Backspace-Delete HowTo.
