In fact, in order to obtain this result (no icon background), i compile
AfterStep with "#define __ NO_ICON_BACKGROUND 1" in the file
.../include/configure.h" .
Be careful, it works with AF 1.5pre3 but not with newer version (1.5pre4 5
6) because
when you want to iconify an application, it kill the X server.
Otherwise, it is a beautiful result, and the root window is the background
of the icon.
And you will be unable to have on desktop with no icon background and an
other
with icon background (compile option ...).
