The Wharf can be moved.  It's just that it gets started in a particular
screen location without handles (and so is tricky to move), _and_ it's
sticky (so it's always in the same physical screen location).

It seems likely that there's something in your database which is causing
this.  Try doing an ident on the Real Player window, which will allow you
to know what the machine is calling that window, and then specifying a
description for that window in the database.
