 damn - i forgot one more call to removeorderfromname(). so after applying
 the patch: change line 1637 of configure.c
      fprintf(start_menu, " Title \"%s\"\n", directory);
 to
      fprintf(start_menu, " Title \"%s\"\n", removeorderfromname(directory));

 so u can sort directories too and their names are correctly shown in the
 popup menus.
