Can't enable sound

My showaudio is up and working, sounds are here and i can play it in a
xterm BUT at boot, Xconsole complains about 

AfterStep: error in config: AudioPath	
~/GNUstep/Library/AfterStep/desktop/sounds:/usr/share/afterstep/desktop/sounds
 in line AudioPath	
~/GNUstep/Library/AfterStep/desktop/sounds:/usr/share/afterstep/desktop/sounds

Problem is, i can't find the file "AudioPath", and
"/GNUstep/Library/AfterStep/desktop/sounds" definetly don't exists !

About xsysinfo, it does not swallow nicely, but makes a garbage of a
wharf button, unreadable.

this aside, AStep is always a dream of an interface. Thanks and bravo.
