ok here's how to find afterstep binary:
find / -name afterstep
once you find that file then move it to lets say:
/usr/local/bin
or
/usr/X11R6/bin
or whatever directory is in your path. to see what is in your current
path do a:
echo $PATH
If you put it in the right directory then the command:
which afterstep
should show:
/usr/local/bin/afterstep
or whatever directory you put it in. If that still doesn't show up then
try putting it in some other directory
only after you see some meaningful output from the which command then add:
exec afterstep
as the last line of your ~/.xinitrc file
Hope it helps,
Xtres
