	I pressume this is the one from f.a.o(?).  First you need to
verify that you are using the same version of rpm that the pkg was built
on. My RH4.2 shipped with rpm-2.3.11-1, but was then updated to
rpm-2.4.8.1 (which, I belive fixed the /bin/sh bug).  There is a new
version of rpm (rpm-2.5.1-0) although I read somewhere that it might
not be backwards-compatible - I could be wrong(!).  We'll assume I am
incorrect and go with the latest rpm (www.redhat.com or www.rpm.com).

	I'd say to get the src.rpm and do an: rpm --rebuild AS...rpm, this
will recompile it for your system (more than likely fixing the local
difficulties) and place it in /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386 [or your
architecture].  Be sure to read the README's that are put in the
/usr/[local/]docs directory about what you need to do *after* you install
via rpm - i.e. echo /path/to/afterstep > ~/.xinitrc (pressuming you don't
use xdm - which is an entirely different matter, check the archives of
this list for axplanation if you use xdm!!
