RH5.1 and Shadow

hi
How can I get shadow installed on password file on RH5.1 ? Is there PRM 
of it? README is saying something about renaming Makefile.linux and 
onfigure.h.linux, but they are not in the package I got from the 
official shadow site ?
Any1 can help me out?
