Oh, dear, I realise what's wrong here. It's my fault.
The latest versions of theprogram (i.e. the one you have) has a different
source structure than the older versions. The instructions you have
reflect the older structure.
Ok, so what you need to know is that _all_ the compiled binaries are now
found under [sourcepath]/src/[progname]/[binname], and that the stuff that
has to go under ~/GNUstep/Library/AfterStep is in the directory
[sourcepath]/afterstep/*.
