Does RH's X config program still not allow color depth selection? You may
want to try TurboLinux 2.0's turboxcfg - it will work with any Linux
distribution, since it's statically linked (no glibc/libc5 issues to
resolve). It'll work with either English or Japanese, depending on the
LANG environment variable. TL 2.0 isn't up for FTP yet, but you can get
this program in an RPM from ftp.pht.co.jp:/pub/turbolinux-beta-fixes/RPMS
I wrote it from scratch myself, so let me know if you like it :)
