Install question...

I am not only an Afterstep newbie, but fairly new to Linux as well. I
have been running RH5.0 for about a week now. I have read loads about
Afterstep since beginning to "look into" Linux as an alternative.

I just installed an RPM package from the contributor directory on the
RedHat ftp site. The version is 1.4-2. The install seemed to go well
and I setup my .Xclients to call afterstep. Now each time I try to start
X, it begins to load then kick back out with "C: not a valid file or
directory". Does anyone have any clues what my problem might be?

Thanx in advance!
jdk
