One (1) DeskTop, please?

In ver 1 I had one desktop in my pager, 3 rows x 4 columns. I can't achieve
this in 1.4. Unfortunately I'm not smart enough to reconstruct how I did in
ver.1 by examining my .steprc!
Setting PagerRows and PagerColumns to 1 and 1 respectively doesn't do it. It
seems to default to 1 column and 2 rows, even I try to force the issue by
setting PagerRows to zero.
