Hello all,
I could use some help and I was hoping that someone in here could.
I just d/l the new source to WindowMaker and I compiled it without any
problem. I was going along, following the directions and installing
everything when I got stuck. I know this is going to sound stupid, but I
haven't been able to get it to run. Nope, I didn't get any errors... I just
don't know the command to get it to run. Here's what I've done.
Placed the data package
Installed the accompanying package
/.configure
make
make install
Ran an Install script
Everything is placed, but it tells me if I want to use WM, I have to run a
file called "wmake.inst"
Here's the question.....where the heck is that file? I can't find
it anywhere. If I don't really need to do that then what is the command
that I need to enter in order to start WindowMaker? Anyone? I've been
reading, and yes it's 3am so that probably isn't helping any. If anyone can
help out I would REALLY appreciate it. I'm going to bed, I can barely see
straight right now. Thanks in advance.
Brad Dunsmore
The box said "Windows95 or better", so I bought a Mac.
