I haven't had those problems with either of those apps. When I loaded
Linux, I loaded the new version of X before I loaded ANY of the WMs. Heh, I
needed the AGP support. After I did that I compiled 1.455N without a hitch
and installed. I don't think I did anything different from you guys I just
may have done it in a different order. Hmmm....
