Thanks a lot for all of the answers from the list, I'll keep my eye's
peeled for a devel patch or new releases to fix shade-ed windows (to
keep them from being sticky).
One other thing that I've noticed (I haven't been able to find
anything about in in the list archives). Sometimes, when a window is
created on a desktop at the very edge of the screen it's hard to
scroll past that edge with the mouse.
For example, if I create a netscape window on the second desktop from
the top, and it forms right on the top of the screen, I can't move the
mouse off the top of the screen over that netscape. But once I've
moved the window, no problem, everything works as normal.
I swear I saw the same bug in a version of FVWM2... Anyways, I'm
trying to find a way of making this repeatable... If this isn't a
known bug I'll post to the list when I have a repeatable scenario.
Oh, this is all on AfterStep-1.4.5.55N6, Linux 2.0.33 ix86, XFree86
3.2.2, and a Matrox Millenium I 4Meg.
