David,

    Another stupid question:

I don't know what an RPM file is or how to use it. I think it's
got something to do with RedHat Linux 5.0.
I am using Slackware linux and I don't have the newest librarys.
Can I use .rpm's and if so how, or, steer me to instructions on
the web.
