Dave,

    Thanks for comming to the rescue with the MaxSwallow patch.
A few questions though, I have never used a patch before.
1. where do I put the patch ?
2. do I make the patch executable ?
3. what command is used to apply the patch ?
4. what else have I not asked that I would need to
    know to apply the patch.

I have been running Linux Slackware for 2 years.
I have been lucky - almost everything I have ever
compiled has worked. I don't have any idea what to do
if a program has an error other than to try updating
my kernel and libraries and compile it again.
I am a Linux "user" only. I know nothing about
programming.
