I'm sorry this is slow, but I've been out of town.  

Asload, among other things, does not work wo/ some patching due to
differences in device naming between FreeBSD and Linux.  Actually I don't
think that's the problem w/ asload and I have patches for that
somewhere so it'll run under FreeBSD.  Asfsm and asfsm-lite are in the
same boat as is asmixer and maybe a couple others.
