The way afterstep appropriated those particular keys bothered me as well.
I didn't mind it running anything but Netscape, but I hated having to reach
for the mouse when I just wanted to return to the previous Web-page.
I quite by accident discovered this weeked that Shift-Alt-Right/Left allow
you to go forward/back and still retain the afterstep functionality of
those keys.

By the way, Tommy, I looked at the source of your message whilst trying
to remember how to send this to the list. I noticed your message
came from root@localhost but ended up coming from tommyf@algolnet.se.
You seem to be using qmail. I still haven't gotten sendmail to work for
me. Is qmail any easier? Any quick and dirty setups for someone using
a dialup only connection?
