About afterstep 1.4...

I just got afterstep 1.4 for my RH5 install 486 dx66
machine. It is rather slow, but that is not the WM's fault.
Everything is slow, because of the computer. Anyway, I was
wondering if someone could convince me to get the new
version. I have spent a lot of time configuring afterstep to
work the way I like and I am afraid to install an other
version.
Anyone?
