xmkmf / imake

Hi..
I've been trying to get AfterStep 1.4.5 up, and have run across the
following error:

milhouse:~/AfterStep$ xmkmf
mv -f Makefile Makefile.bak
imake -DUseInstalled -I/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/config
Imakefile.c:13: Imake.tmpl: No such file or directory
imake: Exit code 33.
  Stop.

If anyone can shed some light on what I should do, PLEASE post it..
