hiya,

i installed an RPM as-1.4.recent and got no xiterms, so the default
xiterm settings were a bit of a hassle. having found the source and
compiled it, i find similar problems to some i had with rxvt: it
doesn't seem to like joe/jmacs, and it won't scroll back with
PGUP/PGDN. i'd love to fix these, because xiterm looks quite sexy ... 
has anyone else coped with these two? 

i like the FAQ on list join idea; pre-emptively giving people some
extra information can't hurt much. it's good the list is so receptive
of simple questions nevertheless.
