pager

I just installed AfterStep-1.4.5.55N.tar.gz over the top of an older version. 
When I rebooted my machine it seemed to start up Afterstep without a hitch, 
BUT the pager, which was previously 2x2 is now 3x3. So I went to to check the 
config of the pager and it says:
# Pager
#
DeskTopSize          2x2
DeskTopScale         32  

So can someone tell me how to make the pager 2x2 again?
