Afterstep & Sound

Ok, folks!
I know that this might not be the right place to ask this. I have tried to
get my sound setup in RedHat 5.0 using the sndconfig utility. When sndconfig
tries to play a sound I get: An error encountered opening /dev/audio.
When I installed RH 5.0 I selected all option for sound. Below is a copy of
the files created by sndconfig.
When I get it working how do I incorporate it into AfterStep 1.4.5.2.?
Thanks,
Preben
