This speed is defined in configure.h as -
	#define ANIM_STEP       10 
	#define ANIM_STEP_MAIN  10
	#define ANIM_DELAY      10
once adjusted, recompile and voila, quicker wharf animation.
I still prefer to run with both *WharfAnimate & *WharfAnimateMain
commented out in the wharf file; I could never find an animation that
matched no animation's speed - FWiW.
