You can make a link to Wharf (let's call it Dock and hope that Apple isn't
looking).  Then you can configure Module Dock just like you did Wharf

ie

Module Dock
*DockAnimate
*DockMaxColor 256

*Dock "0" NeXT.xpm,threedots.xpm Folder
*Dock "1" shutdown.xpm Quit

etc,etc
