StarOffice Icon Problem

AS 1.4.5.3 on Debian pre-2.0 (hamm), launch StarOffice 4.0. Everything's 
fine until I inconify the StarOffice window, which disappears! I can still
get it back from CurrentDesk, but I don't know where the iconified window
goes. I have not been able to duplicate this behgaivor with other
applications. TIA,
