[admin] Subject prefix ... was Re: this list

Aloha!
Before this gets out of hand let me point out that this topic was
raised, discussed, voted on and decided roughly one year ago. Here
is the beginning of the thread in the mailing list archives:
http://wormhole.eosys.com:/mail-archives/afterstep/9705/msg00221.html
My opinion: This list is for the membership of the list. If the
majority (vocal majority) want a subject prefix I will add it,
likewise if the majority (vocal majority) do not want a prefix,
then we don't have one. There are arguments on both sides of this
issue. I've heard most of them several times over.
My proposal: Let's discontinue this thread on the mailing list.
Send your vote directly to edo@afterstep.org with the subject
"AfterStep Subject Prefix: " with a "YES" or "NO". I will tally
the votes next week, publish the results to this list and take
the appropriate action. Sound reasonable?
Summary: Email you vote today ...
If you want to have a subject prefix:
To: edo@afterstep.org
Subject: AfterStep Subject Prefix: YES
If you do not want to have a subject prefix:
To: edo@afterstep.org
Subject: AfterStep Subject Prefix: NO
Until next week ...
-later, edo
