I agree with Scott...I think putting something in the subject is a great
idea, since many other lists do the same.  However, something
shorter like [AS] or [Astep] would be a better solution.

Either a single list admin could make a simple change, or hundreds (or
whatever) of list members could needlessly duplicate each others' efforts.
:)

And while we're at it, how about a "reply-to:" line?
