Just a few menu problems...

Can i get rid of items i don't use anymore, such as "desktop" ?

I tried to store "modules" elsewhere, and it all messed up (now i have
two "modules" entries

Also, why can't i rename the "quit" menu ? 


I know im running 1.4, but how to know more about the version ?
