YES!! wmppp was just what I was looking for. But I can't seem to get it
to dial. I am guessing the little check mark is for the dialing since
the [x] disconnect works.. This is my setup: typicaly, I dial with
either "ppp-on" or just "pppd" (with /etc/ppp/options set)
.wmppmrc:
speed: /etc/ppp/getmodemspeed
start: /usr/sbin/ppp-on
stop: /usr/sbin/ppp-off
ifdown: /foo/bar/your-personal-wmppp-restart-script-here
I didn't know what "ifdown" should do so I didn't modify it.
Lastly, I am interested in the patch.. please let me know how I can get
it.
